A few memories...

Hi everyone. I thought I would post a few pictures that I found while looking through the 'My pictures' folder on our computer. Some of you have seen some of these already but I hope you don't mind seeing them again. I have some older pictures that I want to post but I need to go to my parent's house and use their scanner. Or maybe I need to take a trip to Rochester, NH....

Andrea came to visit a couple of times after Callum was born. Here we are hanging out in the garage. I think this was in July or August of last year.

Andrea, remember when you took me to see 'Wicked', and I told you I was pregnant? That day was one of my best memories of all time! It was so much fun to just spend the whole day with you... We need to do that again soon. I often think about that day and it just make me smile. I really treasure those times that we spend together and I don't know why we don't do it more often. I know we're both busy, though...
That same visit Michael taught me all about his bees.

Here we are before the show. My hair is really short!

Andrea & Michael, I hope you guys had a good trip to Texas! And I hope that the anniversary party went well! Brian, we'll need an update from you - I hope you're doing well too! I miss all of you...

  1. Great Blog Sally Piles! I, too, wish you guys would touch.....um....I mean spend more time together. We thought of you all last night when we were watching a special on Maine Public TV about the Adirondacks....and the section on which they focused was the FULTON CHAIN!!!! They discussed the museum, the "90 Miler" (I am SURE one of the Smiths has won this numerous times, but Brian is too modest to tell us), Old Forge Hardware, and the "Lur" infestation of '76. Among other things. And stuff. Again, I know I dont post here like I should....but I have the Goldsmith5 blog going, and I encourage you to check it out and leave a 'ment. After your vay-kay and after you out for drinks and apps. I only have time for one blog right now.....but Amanda wants to do it more often (post on this blog, that is)

  2. The "Toilet Buddies" picture is from the time we all met up in Portland.

The anniversary party was a hoot. It was fun to go to Texas and visit her family. We spent most of the time getting ready for and recovering from the party. I'll let Andrea tell you more about it.

We'll work out a trip date sometime soon, when our weekend schedule settles down. Andrea seems to be pretty good lately at finding things to keep us busy. I'm starting to get a little tired of it. Hopefully she'll catch on to my subtle hints that I just want a quiet weekend at Yo's.
This weekend is Rochester Fest Day and the Andrea Veal Voice Studio will be there representing. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
